Rex’s Lineage
Rex is the son of two of our multiple time Iditarod finishers and leaders. He is an earnest and responsive youngster who likes to please. He and Zipper are from a litter of 2 that combines many generations of dogs we’ve bred, trained, and developed into race champions. When he was 7 months of age Rex harness broke like a pro! As a yearling, in the fall of 2025, Rex went into serious training with the main team as we prepared them for the 2026 Iditarod. He learned to camp, knock out long runs, travel, and he showed us the traits we’re looking for in a competitive athlete. Rex became a standout yearling; often running in the front of the team in swing or lead in the main team.
