Lusa’s Lineage
As a yearling Lusa led in her first race like a pro setting an avg pace of 14.5 for 20 miles along side Fender who’s almost 9 now. She passed 4 teams from behind and passed our home “in” trail where we normally turn into the kennel with total focus. At the age of 3 Lusa has become our number one finishing leader in all of our toughest races. We’ve seen her move into the role with incredible determination, purpose, focus, and heart. She is an exceptionally fast, flawless moving, and intelligent dog.

2018
5th Valley Funale- with Rick Mackey. Her first race as a yearling and first time running for my dad. Lusa ran in lead with flying colors in a local race known for being a bit of circus with tons of team, passings, and mayhem, etc.
1st Solstice 50
2019
10th Kuskokwim 300
1st Nenana Ice Classic Tripod 40/40. Main leader, led on day two with KP.
1st Two Rivers 200/Vet’s Choice Award
7th Kobuk 440. Finishing leader with KP.
2020
10th Kuskokwim 300. Main leader and finishing leader with Spark.
2nd Willow 300 2020. Main leader and finishing leader with Monarch.
3rd Nenana Ice Classic Tripod Race 40/40- with Roland Mackey. Her first time running with my brother. Main leader and finishing leader with Pan.
1st Two Rivers 200. Main leader.
