Ava’s Lineage
Ava is a tremendous young leader on our team. She has trained with the main team since she was a yearling. A shoe in on our 2024 Iditarod team as a 3 year old she came into heat before the even and had to be left at home. Having her first litter in 2023, Ava is an excellent mother, and we decided to breed her again in hopes of throwing her cycle off so she’ll be on the 2025 Iditarod team. In the 2024/2025 season Ava catapulted to the front of the team as a go to main leader. Leading every step of every race and a large portion of the training runs.
